Today is another big day in the Sapling journey - we’re ecstatic to welcome new investors including Clark Valberg (Founder of InVision), Neil Blumenthal (Co-Founder of Warby Parker), Lon Binder (CTO of Cityblock Health) and Peter Kazanjy (Founder of Atrium) to help us accelerate the power of our People Operations Platform!
We want to take a moment to reflect on how we got here and what’s next for Sapling.
Since announcing our last round of financing in February, we’ve more than doubled our team, welcomed amazing customers like Hashicorp, Figma, Zapier, MasterClass and Webflow to the Sapling family, and rolled out several new product updates.
We’ve expanded our team of engineers, marketers, salespeople, and customer success managers, and welcomed world-class leadership into our go-to-market teams for our global growth strategy.
Sapling’s customer employee base also grew significantly - we now have over 70,000 employees on the platform supported by an automated People Operations workflow and a market leading end user experience.
Additionally, we’ve completed SOC2 type 1 and type 2 compliance opened a new office in Vancouver Canada, and launched strategic partnerships with LinkedIn, JazzHR and others to increase our ecosystem of connected business applications for our customers.
Last but not least, we’ve been recognized by G2 Crowd as a 2020 ‘High Performer’ for onboarding and our People Operations Platform has again won the FrontRunner award for HRIS software. Out of 366 HRIS platforms evaluated, Sapling was ranked as 4th for HRIS (#1 for CoreHR solutions) - a testament to the community’s conviction in Sapling’s mission, and the business results our product delivers.
So what’s next for Sapling?
We’ll continue to build the platform that empowers People Operations teams to build better companies with more automation, data and connectivity. That means more integrations, more data and analytics, less busy work and better workflows.
