Download all current Time Off balances from your existing system. Use this template to understand what information you will need to upload into Sapling.
Ensure your Company Holidays are set up. This is crucial to make sure time off requests that include holidays will be marked correctly.
Make a list of the policies you need for different employee groups. You can filter Time Off policies by department, employment classification, and location (for example: you can set up a sick policy for part-time workers who are remote.)
